A Special Night With Troy Lamore - Part 4

I came through the other side of the hole and stopped dead still in complete awe.

In front of me lay an never ending expanse of yellow grass and green water, a blue sky but a red sun. I turned to Troy my eyes wide open, I just wasn't expecting this to be down the hole. Troy looked back me, a soft smile on his face.

I looked around again my eyes lit up. It's so beautiful where are we?

Where do you think we are? he replied.

I turned my head around taking the sight before me flowers with massive blooms in purples and red and oranges were all around, butterflies in varying colours flew from bloom to bloom and I understood what they were saying.

I have no idea it doesn't seem real.

There's nothing to be scared of! His voice soft and tender.

I'm not, I replied and I wasn't, I was just confused.

This man had got inside my head and my heart and I totally trusted him but this was all a bit much to take it, it didn't make sense it was a crazy night.

Hey. He moved over to me, Look at that over there see it.

He was so close I could feel his breath on my face. Look.

I couldn't move, ahead of me Swans and Rabbits played together in harmony.

Look again he said the same soft tone in his voice, in the distance on the other side of the water Elephants grazed and Owls sat on their backs chatting to each other.

My pretty little girl, shall we go nearer? It's OK. Nothing will happen to you. The smoothness of his voice reassured me but I somehow knew I would be OK.

Just move slowly we don't want to scare them, with that we moved a little closer.

I said I would take you to somewhere you'd never been before. You've really shown great courage Lil'. You are strong now but remember to move slowly, I'm here, it will all be OK.

I believed him.

Just keep looking all around you Lil'.

I looked up and above I saw both the stars of the night sky and a rainbow that can only be seen during the day, this was a very strange place! I had no idea where we could be, this wasn't anything like I could have possibly imagined.

My gaze kept changing from one wondrous thing to another, this is unbelievable and I had no idea what this place was about, it was real and yet couldn't be, it wasn't possible.

Are you ready, he enquired.

For what? I asked, whatever could be coming next

And with that he leaned over and kissed me. I gasped.

The full moon above was framed by the rainbow and little fireworks were going off all over my body. I wasn't imagining it I could see it's reflection dancing in the green waters ripples. A swan silently drifted across the water and as it passed by it turned and smiled at me, it's eyes a twinkling sapphire blue. It was beautiful. I couldn't turn away.

I felt his body gently rocking next to me and I turned to look at him. He gently nodded his head and brushed his cheek against mine. This was perfect.

We must have sat there for an hour in silence lost totally in the scene. I'd never seen anything like this before. The only sound the water lapping gently on the bank and the gentle chitter chat of nature.

Eventually he broke the silence. Your eyes pretty girl they sparkle like diamonds.

I swallowed and smiled.

How can you tell? I joked, everything here sparkles like diamonds.

I turned to him and smiled.

Troy really where are we?

Listen to yourself Lil' then you'll find the answer. He smiled. It may not come straight away but it will, it will, he could tell my confusion, I decided to let my questioning go for a while. Daddy always says to listen to yourself you need to get into a relaxed state of mind and although I don't think I've ever been this relaxed my mind just couldn't focus.

We both turned back towards the water in front of us and remained silent, our shoulders gentle touching. After a while the birds began to sing a lullaby and we knew it was time to go.

We both stood and walked back towards the hole, neither speaking knowing our time together was shortly to come to an end.

Come on, he whispered, It's time to go back through. Do you like this kind of wind in your hair?

Oh yes but with that he was off through the hole and we were back on the soft sparkling pathway heading towards the tunnel ahead of us once again.

Remember close your eyes and run, he said as we approached the enterance, You must close your eyes.

I closed my eyes, my heart pounding, I ran.

When we got to the other side I opened my eyes again, the birds were beginning their morning chorus, I didn't realise we had been gone so long. Where on earth had I just been? I knew I'd be safe with Troy and I knew he'd never put me into a position of danger but that was just too different to be believed. It was exhilarating but confusing.

We ambled back up my road, keeping to the pathways, the gardens no longer our playground before all too soon we were again in the back garden.

He lent towards me and whispered in my ear

I guess I had better be on my way pretty Lil', I've a long journey ahead I've a plane to catch.

Of course he has, I laughed to myself.

Troy leaned towards me and again brushed my cheek with his. He smiled and turned.

So long Lil' it's been a pleasure, I hope you have enjoyed yourself.and remember dream do come true!

I'd had an amazing experience but I was glad to be home on familiar territory.

Wait. I called and turned to face him. Just one thing Troy.

He turned his head towards me. What is it my pretty girl?

Who are you?

His mouth widened into a large grin.

You may already have the answer Lil', just listen and good question by the way.

With that he was gone.

What a night I'd had. I was feeling very tired and know I needed to go to sleep but I didn't want the night to be over I didn't want to forget the things I'd seen.

I went back into the house of glass and lay down there in front of me was a rose laid out on the blanket. He must have done it while I was getting the Dreamies earlier. I closed my eyes and fell asleep with the image of swans and rainbows, rabbits and the stars floating around and those amazing eyes of his dancing in my head.
