Oh dear, I must be more careful. I'd tried to settle next to River for a sleep this afternoon but she kept on turning around and around and I guessed she wanted some breathing space but as I didn't want to be too far away from her I settled down of the arm of the sofa next to her to watch over her while she slept.
I got a bit lost in my thoughts and I must have drifted off to sleep as the next thing I knew I was being thrown up in the air and River was barking in utter shock. I'd only gone and fallen off the edge of the sofa right on top of her.
It did give us both a start, although everythings settling down now, I don't think I'll be doing that again in a hurry, us cats like jumping, it;s true but we're not too keen on being tossed around like a pancake.
