"I thought I told you I wanted the buried treasures left on the wall for when I came back!" Flash just shouted up the garden at me.I'm indoors on the table safe away from River having a pasta dinner high and running around wild. This is one time though that I'm grateful for the noise she's making, it's putting Flash off attempting to come inside and steal it for himself.
I just blinked back at him and then just at that moment something came over me. I shrugged my shoulders and then poked my tongue out at Flash.
"YOU," he sounded really angry, "are really testing my patience!"
And off he jumped the other side of sunshine shed. In just that single moment I didn't care, I was safe inside with my family, safe and protected from all harm.
